COUNSELOR BIO

Janet Harrington keeps moving south! She was born in Kansas where she lived until she graduated from high school.  Attending Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education was her next stop.  After a brief detour into business and industry in Norman and Oklahoma City, Mrs. Harrington began teaching in Lawton, OK.  She taught elementary school for 19 years (added a degree in Elementary Education), then, taught high school business classes for 4 years.  She attended East Central University and earned a Master's in Education in School Counseling and was a high school counselor at Eisenhower High School for 10 years before moving to Fort Worth.  This is Mrs. Harrington's 3rd year at Arlington Heights High School.

She is married and has 2 sons.  She loves to read and spend time with friends and family in her free time.
