Ms. Rustin is the counselor for the Class of 2027 at Arlington Heights High School.  She joined the AHHS family in 2020 after serving the families of Eastern Hills for 19 years and now, Heights is Home. Her roles included Data Clerk, English Teacher, Lead Content Teacher, School Manager, and Counselor.

 
Ms. Rustin pursued coursework at Southwestern University, East Texas Baptist University, Tarrant County College, and in 2006 earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Education University of Texas at Arlington.  She earned a Master of Education in Professional School Counseling at Lamar University in 2012.   

She is an avid traveler and reader. It is her love for the written word and lessons learned guiding her own three children (and now three grandchildren) through their educational journey that led her to serve in the public education system.  She brings a solution focused perspective to provide all students the social, emotional, and academic support to achieve the lifetime gift of an excellent education.
