Lauri Garcia began her career in FWISD in 1995 after completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in History with teacher certification at UTA. She spent her first 16 years at Kirkpatrick Middle School teaching Social Studies and serving as the Instructional Specialist.

She then came to Arlington Heights High School as the Data Analyst and Testing coordinator.  During this time, Mrs. Garcia attended Lamar University to earn her M. Ed. In School Counseling degree in 2014.  Her first two years as a school counselor were spent at Diamond Hill High School.  After that, she returned to good ole AHHS to continue her position as a Professional School Counselor.  Mrs. Garcia is married and has one son, Matthew.
